I am delighted to announce that I am the new community ambassador for Plymouth Sports Charity.
My role will be to give talks at all of our projects and presentation stalls about how our participants can use their experience as an opportunity to not only find employment but also improve their mental health and well being.
I will be visiting all of our projects in the next couple months to say thank you for all the support each project has been given by our partner organisations.
I will also be raising awareness of our aims to tackle the barriers that our beneficiaries face and guide the future of how our charity will best meet these aims.
I would like us to deliver different activities that all include a focus on teamwork to improve social skills and I would like to use my experience of rugby games and the Try For Change project to educate the younger generation.
I would like to give our targeted participants the support to learn actively whilst enjoying themselves and provide an alternative environment to learn in that is not based solely in a classroom.
Thank you for all your support.
